Ollie Watkins next club odds: Arsenal to move for Villa man once again

Arsenal put in a bid for the Aston Villa striker in the January transfer window, and Ladbrokes' latest 'Ollie Watkins next club odds' suggest they're going to be interested in.
Villa had the option of selling Watkins to Arsenal and Jhon Duran to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia earlier on in 2025, and the club opted to keep the Englishman.
However, the latest odds on his next club suggest that Watkins could again be of interest to Arsenal in the summer window, with the Gunners potentially set to bid again for the Euro 2024 semi-final goalscorer.

Ollie Watkins Arsenal transfer could be on the cards
Arsenal are clearly in the market for a striker, with the Gunners leading the race to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon before the beginning of next season.
Watkins is a man they could turn to if deals for other targets, including Gyokeres don't materialise. However, Arsenal are going to face competition for the Englishman.
Also amongst the favourites to sign Watkins this summer are Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle, the latter of whom could move for the player if Alexander Isak does depart, with Liverpool the favourites in that market.
Manchester City transfer seems unlikely for Ollie Watkins
It's worth noting that there are other clubs in the race to sign Watkins this summer, at leats if the latest odds from Ladbrokes are to be believed.
Manchester City are 20/1 to sign the player. Consider Pep Guardiola already has Omar Marmoush and Erling Haaland on his books, a move for Watkins appears to be unlikely.
Also priced as outsiders in the race to sign Watkins this summer are Champions League finalists Inter Milan, Barcelona, Tottenham and AC Milan, all priced between 25/1 and 40/1.
Aston Villa could replace Ollie Watkins with Marcus Rashford
In some of Aston Villa's huge Champions League games this season, Unai Emery opted not to play Watkins, instead going with Marcus Rashford as his starting number nine.
Villa are one of the clubs leading the race to sign Rashford this summer, with Emery and co wanting to make the loan move a permanent one.
However, Villa face stiff competition from the aforementioned Barcelona for Rashford's signature, and it's possible that a move abroad is more likely for the Man United attacker.
