Kelvin Phillips next club odds: Leeds return on the horizon?
Published:
A return to Leeds could be on the horizon for the Manchester City midfielder according to the latest 'Kalvin Phillips next club odds' released by Ladbrokes.
Phillips joined Man City from Leeds in the summer of 2022, but it's safe to say that the midfielder hasn't had the most fruitful time working under Pep Guardiola.
The England international has played just 16 times for City in the Premier League, and the latest odds suggest he could already be on his way out, perhaps for a transfer back to his boyhood club.

Kalvin Phillips could be moving back to Leeds
Leeds are the odds-on favourites to sign Phillips this summer, with then 2024/25 Championship winners the only sides with odds shorter than 8/1.
Phillips played over 200 times for Leeds in the league, with 49 of those games coming in the Premier League before his big move to Man City during the 2022 summer transfer window.
The year prior, Phillips had even broken into the England squad and was a key fixture in the side who made it to the Euro 2020 final, losing to Italy on penalties at Wembley.
Could Kalvin Phillips stay at Ipswich or return to West Ham?
Phillips was majorly out of favour with Man City's coaching staff during his two-years in the squad, with Pep Guardiola even making comments about the player's condition and physical abilities to the media.
So, it wasn't a surprise when ahead of his mid-way through season at the club, Phillips was loaned to West Ham, playing eight times in the league for the Hammers, with a further two appearances coming in the FA Cup.
After his loan at West Ham ended, City are believed to have tried to to sell the player on a permanent basis, but no offers materialised, with Phillips instead being loaned out to Ipswich at the beginning of the 2024/25 season.
The idea behind signing Phillips was to provide some top-flight experience to a relatively Ipswich side. Despite playing just shy of 20 games for the club this season, Phillips' contributions weren't enough to stop Ipswich from getting.
Despite his loans at Ipswich and West Ham not being overly successful, moves to the clubs for Phillips this summer are priced at 20/1 and 16/1 respectively.
Also in the running for Phillips' signature are second-favourites Burnley (8/1) and Everton, the latter of whom have been priced at 12/1 to sign the player this summer.
Phillips could be on his way out of Man City this summer, but one player who has been linked to the club is Florian Wirtz. Despite interest from Guardiola and co though, Bayern Munich lead the transfer race for the player according to the latest odds.
