Jurgen Klopp 'worn out' by Red Bull role & would leave for two specific jobs

Jurgen Klopp is said to be 'worn out' by his new role at the Red Bull group, and would considering leaving his post and returning to management for two rather specific jobs.
In January 2024, the footballing world was shocked by the news that Klopp, the then Liverpool manager, would be stepping down from his post at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Klopp stated that he felt he lacked the energy needed to be a manager, sensing it was the right time to take a break from football.
Jurgen Klopp eyeing management return
Where is Jurgen Klopp working now?
Klopp left Liverpool in May 2024, taking a break from football in the process. However, by the end of the year the German coach had already accepted a new role, this time with the Red Bull group.
However, Klopp isn't a manager for one of the Red Bull clubs, but rather the Global Head of Soccer for the entire group. The new role, which he undertook in January 2025, seemed to suit the ex-Liverpool manager's wants.
Despite stepping away from management less than a year ago, it seems like Klopp is eyeing up a return to the dugout, with two rather specific jobs in his sights.
Jurgen Klopp feeling 'worn out' by new Red Bull role
Is Jurgen Klopp leaving Red Bull?
Klopp has only been working for Red Bull for just over three months, but reports from UOL indicate that the coach is "worn out" by the role.
The report states that "his dissatisfaction has been a recurring theme" amongst those working with him, with the feeling being that a change could be in the offing.
It's worth noting that Klopp hasn't commented on the matter, and it's not been reported that he's leaving Red Bull, but the media is suggesting that isn't totally happy at the moment and could be eyeing up a management return.
Jurgen Klopp wants Brazil or Real Madrid jobs
Where will Jurgen Klopp manage next?
As noted, Klopp is reportedly unhappy in his current role at Red Bull, but the same report that suggested he is dissatisfied has also claimed that there are only two jobs which could tempt him back into management.
The report claims that leading the Brazilian national team into the 2026 World Cup, with the bookies having them as one of the favourites for the tournament, is one of the roles of interest to Klopp.
The other is the Real Madrid job, with Carlo Ancelotti under increased pressure after Los Blancos crashed out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage after a 5-1 aggregate loss to Arsenal.
It's worth noting that it's entirely possible that Klopp doesn't move back into management for the time being, with some theorising that he may wait until after the 2026 World Cup to potentially move to the German national team.
