England to win against Greece

This will Lee Carsley's final international game as men's team interim manager before Thomas Tuchel takes over, and having won four of his give games in charge, we're again predicting England to win against Ireland this time out.

England have had several top names pull out, including Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, but they should still have enough quality to see off a resilient and hard-working Ireland side, as they showed last time out against Greece.

Spain to beat Denmark

Spain travel to Denmark with strong momentum on their side. La Roja have won four of their last five games, including the Euro 2024 final against England in July, while Denmark have only won three of their last five.

Spain are without Lamine Yamal, with the Barcelona winger pulling out with injury, but they still have enough quality, experience and youthful talent to make it past Denmark, so we're going for a win for the tournament favourites here.

France to draw with Italy

From Denmark v Spain to France v Italy, we're going with a draw in the match between two of the game's best international sides.

France failed to beat Israel in their last game, whilst Italy are coming off the back of an impressive win over Belgium. Both sides are going to eager to get a win in a big fixture ahead of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, which kicks off next year.

Kylian Mbappe is missing for France, and he could have been a game-changer despire his poor form for Real Madrid at the moment, so we're predicting that they cancel each other out here.

Argentina to beat Peru

From Europe to South America, our attentions turn to Peru's fixture against Argentina, where we're going for a win for Lionel Messi and co.

Argentina are actually coming off the back of only one win in their last three games, but they'll be more determined than ever to get back to winning ways this week against Peru after a 2-1 loss to Paraguay this week.

Messi is back in the international set-up once again,, and we're predicting that the ex-Barcelona man guides his national side to victory as he has done so many times over the years, this time against Peru, who are currently ninth in qualifying for the World Cup.

Scotland to draw with Croatia

Scotland’s recent performances have been described as incredibly resilient, despite five back-to-back losses, including a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Croatia in October.

Croatia have a new core of young talent breaking through, headed up by Josko Gvardiol, and while the odds favour the Man City defender and his team mates, we're predicting a draw in Scotland this week, with the game having the potential to be quite low-scoring
