Harvey Elliott next club odds: Wolves favourites for Premier League winner
Published:
Wolves are the favourites with Ladbrokes when it comes to the 'Harvey Elliott next club market', with Liverpool reportedly open to selling the young midfielder.
Matheus Cunha is expected to leave Wolves this summer, with Manchester United the favourites for his signature, but the club may have already highlighted their ideal replacement.
Wolves reportedly are looking at Elliott as a potential incoming, and Liverpool believed to be open to selling the player at the right place, Ladbrokes has them as the favourites to become his next club.
Harvey Elliott next club odds
Liverpool could be open to selling Harvey Elliott
It's set to be a big summer for Liverpool, who are the favourites to sign Alexander Isak amongst other players. To fund those incomings, Liverpool will have to sell some players, and one of the names who could be on the chopping block is Elliott.
The ex-Fulham player started his first game of the season on May 3 against Chelsea, and doesn't appear to be someone that Arne Slot thinks fits his system.
So, it's not too surprising to see reports claiming that, for the right place, FSG could be open to seeing Elliott leave the club, and Wolves are believed to be leading the race to sign him.
Tottenham seem to prefer Jack Grealish over Harvey Elliott
Tottenham are also in the running, if the latest odds are to be believed, but they're believed to be more likely to sign Jack Grealish in one of those attacking midfield roles than Elliott.
Aston Villa and Newcastle are also at the head of the betting, but it seems like Wolves are leading the race with the player expected to remain in the Premier League if he does leave Liverpool this summer.
Premier League runner-ups Arsenal could also make a move for Elliot, potentially giving Martin Odegaard renewed competition with the signing of the Liverpool youngster, but it's unlikely that the Reds would want to strengthen one of their title rivals.
Bournemouth and Liverpool to work together on several transfers
What could me an interesting narrative to follow this summer is the relationship between Liverpool and Bournemouth, the ex-Cherries sporting director Richard Hughes working at Anfield on the transfer side of things.
Liverpool are the favourites to sign left-back Milos Kerkez this summer, but are also in the running to sign Dean Huijsen, who of Bournemouth's most exciting young defenders.
The signings could go both ways though, with Bournemouth believed to be interested in a fair few Liverpool players, including Ben Doak, Caoimhin Kelleher and the aformentioned Elliot.
If a move abroad does materialise, then the bookies think that Elliott could be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen, potentially serving as the replacement for Florian Wirtz, who is odds-on to move to Bayern Munich this summer.
