Cheltenham

Wednesday was great - absolutely brilliant, as It's important to keep the ball rolling. We feel like we're facing a massive task obviously, but we're going to give it our absolute best; we're certainly not going to give up.

Our Lil

We've got a number of different chances on Thursday. We start with Our Lil in a four-year-old-only handicap. Heidi [Palin] rides her and takes seven pound off her - which obviously means she's got no weight at all. It's going to be very hard for her, down at the bottom of the weights, but she won last time - albeit fortuitously - and maybe she's got an each-way chance. No weight would have to bring her into the mix for an each-way chance.

Coco Mademoiselle

We've got Coco Mademoiselle running in the Mares' Chase Final - a race we've had in mind for a while. She carries plenty of weight in the race, but I don't think that's an issue for her - she's a big, strong mare. I think the trip is ideal for her and she shouldn't be too far away.

Pawapuri

Then we've got Pawapuri in the Mares' Hurdle Final. Again, this is a race we've had in mind for a while, and she ran nicely the last day at Chepstow. We'd like to think that hopefully she's come forward and, again, she's another one with an each-way chance for sure.

Settle Down Jill

Settle Down Jill runs in a Mares' Novices' Hurdle, and this is a very competitive race in which we're probably biting off plenty. She's got some good form in bumpers, she's a fresh horse and the trip is good. The ground is most important for her; she likes nice ground but we know we've got a big task on.

Shakeyatailfeather

Then we've got Shakeyatailfeather and I think she's our best chance of the day in the 2 mile Mares' Handicap Chase. She ran really well last time and I think she's improved a bit for the run. I hope she'll go really well here.

Ascot, Berkshire, UK. 19th November, 2021. This was a special day for racehorse trainer Dan Skelton (pictured) as today he celebrated having his 1,000th win with horse Faivoir ridden by jockey Harry Skelton winner of the Windsor Horse Rangers Novices' Limited Handicap Steeple Chase. Faivoir owner Mrs Suzanne Lawrence. Trainer Dan Skelton, Alcester.

Sheezer Dancer

In the bumper we run a nice filly, Sheezer Dancer. We've done loads of work at home and she looks a nice jumping filly going forward. Whether she's a certain bumper horse, we'll find out here, but the bumper horses have run really well all year, and hopefully she can continue that.

Ffos Las

We're down at Ffos Las as well, where we've got Jumbo Mills in a chase, his first run over fences, but he's built for a fence and the softer ground down there will really suit him. I'd like to think he'd have an each-way chance, but we're not expecting fireworks from him.

Delgany Deadline runs in a handicap hurdle and, again, he'll like the slower ground down there so he's not without a chance. And then Ronnies Rules runs in a maiden hurdle. We'll just have to keep an eye on the ground and make sure it's not too soft for him. He's been a bit unlucky to be honest, he hasn't completed a couple of runs over hurdles. Just weird things have happened, but he did win a bunch of bumpers last autumn, so hopefully he can go and start his hurdling career well and, with a clear round, he shouldn't be too far away.
